In case you hadnt heard, apparently Google has plans to enter and perhaps completely revamp the cellphone industry.

I was reading the Wall Street Journal the other morning and saw an article that speculated Google may be closer than ever to this, but still faces a lot of opposition from communications companies as well as security and privacy issues.
